Introduction to Fused Glass (One Day Course)

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
A wonderful introduction to the art of kiln formed glass, using solely Bullseye transparent, opal and iridescent glass. You will gain an understanding of the materials, techniques and processes involved while producing your own masterpiece! Using sheet glass, frits, stringers and wire,add inclusions, create voids & bubbles. No prior glass experience necessary! Lunch & materials incl 10.30-4.30pm.

Spring weekend Fused Glass course

On this 3 day course discover ways to work in glass design and make your own personalised items, from etched panels to full colour jewellery and bowls.

Brilliant Birds

Join Sally Stone & Deborah New to make a giant yarnstormed brilliant birds installation for Rowntree Park, York to raise funds for St Leonard's Hospice.
At our bird making workshops, there will be knitting, stitching, pompom making, finger knitting, knitting with large needles & hopefully even some hula hoop weaving.

Drop-in Knotwork and Beading with Suzen Millodot
