Half Day Jewellery Making Workshop

Techniques of the British Neo Romantics of the 1920's

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
A group of British artists emerged beginning in the late 1920s through to the 1950's, these include the likes of John Piper, Graham Sutherland, the graphical work of Henry Moore and Eric Ravillious. Known as the Neo Romantics, they explored richly coloured and textured ways of painting the British landscape using a variety of new techniques.

Make wet felted pendants with textile artist Karen Lane

Fun with Zoetropes! Make a Moving Picture Machine

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
With Frayah as your guide, you will construction your own zoetrope and learn how to create a series of images that will appear to be animated. You don't have to be able to draw - there are other ways! Let your imagination run away with your animations and then decorate the zoetrope in traditional Victorian style or create a more contemporary look.
