Full Day Introduction to Glass Fusing with Enamels

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
Winner of the Gold Award for Glass, Steve Robinson is a glass artist specialising in kiln-fusing. Steve is one of only a few professional glass artists working with enamel powders to colour the glass (rather than pre-coloured glass). He has developed his own techniques for working with these enamels, which he will share with you. You'll make your own large wall hanging and some smaller pieces. Book by: 9 May '18

Techniques of the British Neo Romantics of the 1920's

Event Type: Craft Course/Workshop
A group of British artists emerged beginning in the late 1920s through to the 1950's, these include the likes of John Piper, Graham Sutherland, the graphical work of Henry Moore and Eric Ravillious. Known as the Neo Romantics, they explored richly coloured and textured ways of painting the British landscape using a variety of new techniques.
